Yash Raj Films presents
RAB NE BANA DI JODI
written and directed by Aditya Chopra
You have fallen in love with Raj and Simran in DDLJ.
You have seen some love stories live forever in Mohabbatein.
Ladies and gentleman .. now prepare for the next sensation...
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi...
Aditya Chopra the romantic blockbuster maestro returns
with another timeless tale of an extraordinary love story in a
ordinary jodi .
This time with Suri and Taani to sprinkle the true essence of love and affection lost in our heart.
This is the story of an ordinary man Suri portrayed by the King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and
a charming young girl Taani portrayed by debutant actress Anuska Sharma.
They are bound together by chance but they are destined together by love.
Apart from this there
is a supporting character Balwinder Khosla played
by Vinay Pathak.
Shahrukh as a ordinary man working for Punjab Power has done a simple role with dignity. This can be regarded as one of his better performances. On another hand Anuska working as a debut
has performed well . Although at first half she was a bit amateur but
through the central and till end the performance graph rose distinctly.
She looked beautiful and her dance is fabulous.
Apart from celebrated movie making and screenplay by Adi himself one can feel the blissful cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran,
marvelous score and mesmerizing music by Salim-Sulaiman,
pleasant lyrics by Jaideep Sahni
vibrant production designing by Muneesh Sappel,
beautiful choreography by Shiamak Davar and
Vaibhavi Merchant.
All the songs are good and in symphony with the movie
time line and continuity. The picturisation of
"Tujh mein rab dikhta hai ..." is so beautiful and serene that you will be totally mesmerized.
Now for the verdict :
Rating -> 7.5 / 10
Shahrukh fans take it to be 8.0
and Romantic movie lovers as 9.0.
This is indeed the best picture of the year.
Aditya is a magician and every time he creates masterpieces. Definitely this movie is one of the all time favorite romance.
