It has been quite some time since I came across a good movie.
I mean the quantity of movies produced are
increasing while the quality is declining.
It was then I came across one of the not-so-hyped
AAMIR.
Yes.. It can be called one of the movies
of low budget the so-called "underdog".
But I know only one thing whatever may be the hype
or budget the fact is: there are only good movies or bad movies.
Director Rajkumar Gupta has given us a straight movie
with a difference. He has treated the subject with
acute common sense and has given a good example of
intelligent film-making. He has not taken any special subject or
different matter its just that he has done it with simplicity
and there comes the big difference.
The choice of the leading role was brave and absolute justice has been
rendered by Rajeev Khandelwal. What a genuine performance.
Now that's what is called an "artist" in its true meaning.
He is having the exceptional ability to get in the character in
such a way that's makes the character incredible.
In this movie he captivates the audience with his
powerful involvement into the subject.
Technically it was given a realistic approach which
the screenplay demanded. There could have been little less song(s)
as they had to be pushed into the score which was rather unnecessary.
The editing of the movie made the pace and continuity excellent.
Now its time for the verdict :- Rating -> 6.5 / 10
Those who are regular movie goers they would appreciate the movie,
even time pass watchers will like it. On the whole a good movie.
